Screwfix, Fabric Warehouse and Carpets 4 Less

Johns of Nottingham were instructed to carry out the decorative works to a retail industrial unit in Bulwell, Nottingham by a private client. The industrial unit comprised of the following shops Screwfix, Fabric Warehouse and Carpets 4 Less. We were tasked with modernising the retail unit and we achieved this by applying a fashionable grey colour to the external cladding of the building along with a striking blue colour to the roller shutters and signage.  

The specifications included: Jet washing the external surfaces, painting all the external cladding, doors, windows, roller shutter boxes, soffits, pre finished panels and gutters. The product specified was Johnstone’s Steelclad and the colours used were RAL 5002 & 00A05.

The majority of the works that were undertaken required mechanical access to carry out these works, whilst also keeping the stores open to the public. Ensuring the works were planned, monitored and carried out safely was paramount to complete this project.
