Questgates - Escape of Water

Following a minor leak to a prestige property with a stunning leisure area. Johns of Nottingham were appointed by Questgates to restore the room to its former glory. As the leak occurred over part of the swimming pool, it was decided that we needed to protect the area in its entirety with high quality protection materials for the duration of the works.

The scope of works comprised ourselves purchasing specialist visqueen materials to protect the pool and cover with a full timber board frame allowing our operatives to work safely on site to get access to all areas of the room. The leak damaged plasterboard was removed and replaced with a skim coat feathered into the existing plaster. An electrical test was carried out on the lighting circuit and necessary repairs to the wiring and spotlights were carried out. Our final part of the programme was to carry out decoration works to both the ceiling and walls in the entire room.

Looking from the images attached, you can see the extent of the protection levels and the H&S challenges we faced. The customer was delighted on completion of the works.
