Questgates - Escape of Water

Unfortunately for one of our recent customers, an escape of water occurred at their stunning property which resulted in Questgates instructing Johns of Nottingham to assist with strip out works. A detailed post strip out survey was carried out to include all of the reinstatement works required to bring this property back to it's pre-loss condition. 

Originally the ground floor had both high quality tiles and wooden flooring installed throughout which was removed by our operatives, meaning the drying machinery could be installed to bring the moisture levels to a stable reading. Once the drying program was completed, Johns of Nottingham were ready to reinstate this property straight away.

One of our first tasks on site was to remove and protect the bespoke Kitchen off site to enable our operatives to work safely and effectively in this area. Our scope of works required plastering on most walls downstairs followed by an extensive fitting of luxury tiles throughout the ground floor. Resulting joinery works were necessary which included: door frames, skirting, architraves and a re-fitting of the original bespoke Kitchen. A full re-decoration was undertaken downstairs which included the hall, stairs & landing. The customer picked high quality paint & wallpaper which included Farrow & Ball emulsion and Harlequin Leaf Gold wallcoverings. As you can see from the associated images. The job was completed to a very high standard.
