Crawford & Company - Fire Damage
Project Details
When dealing with the impact of fire in a property one of the most destructive elements is always that of smoke ingress. In this instance smoke and soot damage was extensive and required a full strip out to the affected areas. Reinstatement was a substantial undertaking and prior to decoration all ceiling and wall surfaces required plasterboarding and skimming. Ground floor doors, architraves and skirtings were replaced, hardwood block flooring installed to match existing and all necessary electrical, plumbing and gas works were undertaken ensuring the property was once again habitable. A new bathroom suite was sourced and installed in line with the specification. The associated image shows the pre-reinstatement level of damage.
