Crawford & Company - Escape Of Water
Project Details
An unfortunate event occurred when the boiler expansion tank leaked around the building causing damage to the bar and restaurant. The restaurant that can seat up to 120 people was closed to the public just before a busy time of the year, Easter. Johns of Nottingham were instructed by Crawford & Company to turn this project around as quickly and efficiently as possible. A targeted drying scheme was created to ensure the moisture levels were back to decent percentage before any building works could commence.
Once the drying certificate was received we commenced reinstatement works; Firstly we had to replace all skirtings, doors, frames, architraves and then plaster was required on the walls. Following this, paint was applied to all woodwork and walls in the customers chosen colour.
The finishing items consisted of French polishing to the entire bar and shelving area for the spirits and to finish the project off in style, 140m2 of Axminster carpet was supplied and fitted. All parties were delighted with the end result :)
